We are super excited to announce that we are sponsoring the DVLA Code Challenge. The challenge offers children the chance to win thousands of pounds of IT equipment for their schools as well as the opportunity to develop essential skills in problem-solving, communication and teamwork.
The Code Challenge, which is available for young people of two different age categories to take part in, is in its second year and FireText wanted to get on board, following the success of last year, as an advocate sponsor. The whole team here are keen to get behind this challenge as firm believers in giving young people the opportunity to get involved and pick up valuable skills that we value here as a company.
Earlier this year we opened up two apprenticeship positions at FireText in both customer service and digital marketing, as well as DevOps. James Huff, Co-founder & Partnerships Manager said “Investing in future talent is something we’re really passionate about at FireText. After recently creating two apprentice roles, we are pleased to be able to support more young people by sponsoring the DVLA Code Challenge.”
