Our friends over at Zapier this week announced something really exciting; multi-step zaps.
If you’re not familiar with Zapier yet (where have you been?) let’s catch you up…
Zapier is a web automation platform that allows businesses to connect hundreds of web services, like FireText, to many others such as; Freshdesk, Eventbrite and Mailchimp. It makes it super-easy to connect your software platforms up without the need for any development!
They have now introduced multi-step zaps, which means you don’t have to stop at connecting your FireText account with one other platform at a time, you can connect it up to multiple applications in one workflow (all 500+ if you want)!
Why would this be useful?
You might be using Zapier to connect you eCommerce store to your email agent, pinging out the invoice receipt on email when an order is placed. Add another trigger to your workflow to send a SMS confirmation and another one to update your CRM platform with the new customer details.
You can hook up as many applications as you like to your workflow meaning your zaps are about to get really clever. Every time you add another automation onto your workflow you’ll save even more time.
